So let’s know about one of those great revolutionaries Ramprasad Bismil –
Birth –
Yes, one of the great revolutionaries of independence, the brave man Ramprasad Bismil was born on 11 June 1897 in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh state of India. His father Murlidhar or mother Moolmati made him learn Hindi letters from the age of 7 years. Father Muralidhar used to be strict about his education since his childhood.
Education –
Along with learning the knowledge of Hindi letters at home, his early education was completed from the village, as soon as he came in 9th class, he started coming in contact with the organization of Arya Samaj. After joining this organization, the direction of his life changed. And a new turning point in their life started to attain independence.
Participation in achieving freedom-
When he was 18 years old, freedom fighter Bhai Parmanand was sentenced to death by the British government for his involvement in the ‘Ghadar Conspiracy’. Shown. In this poem, he included things to get rid of British rule.
And in the year 1916, leaving his studies in the Lucknow session of the Congress, Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak jumped into the fire of independence by participating in the procession throughout the city of Lucknow. And during this time he published one of his books ‘History of America’s Independence’. Which was later banned by the Uttar Pradesh government for a long time.
Kakori scandal-
Hindustan Republican Association Party was formed on 3 October 1924 by Shachindranath Sanyal, Yogesh Chandra Chatterjee and Ram Prasad Bismil. Planned to rob the government treasury to meet the money needed to run the party smoothly. In this, 10 people gathered Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, Chandrashekhar Azad, Shachindranath Bakshi, and others and looted the government treasury on 9 August 1925 by stopping the train at Kakori station near Lucknow.
Sentence to Death-
After the Kakori incident, the British government arrested Bismil along with another 40 on 26 September 1925. Out of which Ramprasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri and Roshan Singh were hanged in Gorakhpur jail on 19 December 1927. And the last rites of Ramprasad Bismil were performed on the banks of Rapti with Vedic chants.
