This is how the idea of growing vegetables in a pipe came
Sunita is fond of growing vegetables. When any pot broke, she used to put soil in it and plant a plant. Sunita told that one day she was selling goods to the scrap dealer. Then his eyes fell on a pipe placed on his bicycle, which he bought and placed it on the roof. Over time, the soil started to freeze in it and grass also grew. Seeing this he realized that something could be grown in it.
Not a single pot will be seen on their roof
When he succeeded in growing vegetables in pipes, he experimented with growing vegetables in bamboo as an alternative. This is the reason why she grows almost every seasonal vegetable today in a vertical garden built on PVC and bamboo. That’s why you won’t see a single pot on their roof, but many PVC pipes and bamboo stands.
If the pipe method seems expensive, then do this
Many people found it an expensive way to grow vegetables in PVC pipe. So Sunita took the option of making a vertical garden in bamboo. The result of both these methods was very good. Let us tell you, the cost of two PVC pipes of 5 feet is about 1000 rupees. You can plant 4 to 5 varieties of vegetables in a single pipe. If this method seems expensive, then cut the bamboo worth 10 to 20 rupees into four pieces, and then put plastic around it. Only 35 to 40 rupees will have to be spent to prepare it and a good vertical garden will be ready.
All these vegetables are grown in pipes
Sunita grows brinjal, ladyfinger, strawberry and cabbage in these PVC pipes. People are shocked to see cabbage growing in the pipe. Sunita has also received many awards like “Kisan Abhinav Samman” for this method of farming. She says that people’s health will also be good and money will also be saved by the vegetables grown from vertical farming. Sunita wants everyone to adopt this method.
